Q: How much is a ‘truckload’ of stone?
A: A typical truck leaving our quarries can carry approximately 24 tons of product. Size of pieces or packaging can impact this number.
Q: Do you provide trucking?
A: Although we do not maintain our own fleet of trucks, we do have relationships with many carriers and can help arrange shipping for you. If you have your own trucks or a transportation company you enjoy working with, we are glad to coordinate with you and/or your preferred vendor.
Q: Do you ship by rail?
A: Yes. A growing number of customers find it more economical to use rail as an alternative to long distance trucking.
